We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with specific experience in securing and managing investments and overseeing large-scale construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy, aligning with overall business goals.
    • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
    • Manage financial risk and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Investment and Fundraising:
    • Develop and execute strategies for securing investment and funding to support the company's ambitious growth strategy.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to prepare financial models, forecasts, and business plans for potential investors.
    • Prepare and support in the presentation of financial information to potential investors and stakeholders.
    • Support in the management of relationships with investors, venture capitalists, and other financial partners.
    • Take full accountability in the due diligence process and ensure compliance with investment agreements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the food or biotechnology industries.
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing investments, including Series A, B, and C funding.
  • Extensive experience in financial project management, particularly in overseeing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, standards, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with investors and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
