About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, ages, and nationalities to drive technical development and improvements of materials. As a Sustainable Material Solutions Expert, you will:

Key Responsibilities-

  • Develop and implement strategies for material development and improvement.
  • Leverage supplier relationships to access knowledge and expertise.
  • Create technical requirements for materials and align them with manufacturing and product platforms.
  • Analyze production and quality data to enhance material behavior understanding.
  • Explore simulation and digitalization opportunities to strengthen material-to-technology platform connections.
What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • BSc or MSc degree in Polymers, Materials, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical, Process, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in polymer material development, formulation, or selection in an industrial context.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply data-driven approaches to drive improvement.
  • Strong analytical skills, coupled with excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Experience with specification and requirement management, along with proficiency in English (written and verbal).

Desirable Skills

  • Data analysis and visualization skills, e.g., through Excel, Power BI, or Minitab.
  • Material testing and injection molding experience.
  • Problem-solving skills and relevant tool proficiency.
