About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager/Project Director to join our R&D Investments team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving highly complex CAPEX investment projects from early development to handover.

Main Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage project cost, scope, time, risks, and business impact through the project lifecycle, adhering to Novo Nordisk's governance framework.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion of all project deliverables, from analysis to construction.
  • Effectively engage and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes, securing alignment and clear decision-making with enterprise value in mind.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Line of Business, senior management, and IPG (Investment Portfolio Group).
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the project management function, aligning with evolving business needs.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a relevant field.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, including at senior leadership levels.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage project teams to achieve project goals.
  • Strong knowledge of project methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience from building laboratories and PMP certification is an advantage.
  • English language proficiency.
