Position Overview
In this role, you will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
- Coordinating and executing sourcing events in partnership with project teams and central procurement functions.
- Leading the sourcing process and conducting negotiations with suppliers.
- Performing market analysis to identify potential suppliers.
- Developing and managing the Sourcing Pipeline.
- Overseeing comprehensive sourcing and contracting activities.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and effective contract management.
As our new (Senior) Sourcing Professional, you will collaborate with your team to drive the sourcing process for medium-sized events and serve as a liaison between Lines of Business and central Category Managers.
Qualifications
To thrive in this position, we expect you to possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Several years of practical experience in managing sourcing processes, with a proven track record in end-to-end procurement.
- Familiarity with online sourcing platforms (such as Coupa, ARIBA, or similar tools).
- Proficiency in both Danish and English.
Experience with indirect spend categories, involvement in construction-related projects, and a background in GxP, pharmaceutical, or similar industries will be considered advantageous.
On a personal level, you should exhibit a proactive approach and maintain a results-driven mindset. You will thrive in a global work environment, effectively communicating complex issues in a clear manner. You are adept at managing multiple priorities and changes, demonstrating the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
