As a Senior HVAC Engineer at Aibel AS, you will be responsible for coordinating and following up on HVAC system design and area design in an exciting growing portfolio. You will work closely with other disciplines to achieve project goals and ensure that all deliveries are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop system design philosophy and design basis for HVAC systems, taking into account functional requirements, control philosophy, and operational philosophy
  • Package Responsible Engineer for HVAC systems
  • Coordinate and follow up on HVAC system design and area design
  • Design ductwork systems
  • Perform calculations of air flow rate based on ventilation requirements and heat emissions
  • Cooling calculations
  • Select HVAC equipment considering capacity and feasibility
  • Conduct technical inquiries for HVAC equipment and bulk
  • E nsure coordination of HVAC design with other disciplines

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in HVAC System design or HVAC PRE in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably from the Norwegian Continental Shelf
  • PDMS/E3D experience
  • Offshore survey experience can be an advantage
