About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned cloud engineer to join our team in maintaining, supporting, and developing our customers' on-prem and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

The scope of work involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools to optimize multi-cloud environments and provide unified, efficient platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining routine operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrading cloud systems
  • Assessing current cloud services and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing enhancements
  • Supporting the integration of new technologies into existing cloud systems
  • Designing, maintaining, and improving infrastructure automation strategies
  • Developing customer use cases and examples to demonstrate benefits and possibilities of the cloud offering
  • Providing end-user support related to cloud issues

Your Profile:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience managing, deploying, and scaling applications in different cloud technologies
  • Good understanding and experience in serverless architecture patterns
  • Experience with container orchestration (Docker and Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with OpenStack platform administration
  • Fluency using Infrastructure as Code tool set (like Git, Terraform, Ansible or similar tools)

Desirable Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in GNU/Linux system administration with multiple distributions
  • Able to troubleshoot issues in a complex cloud environment
  • Practical experience on Function as a Service (FaaS) and/or Service Mesh and service to service layer
  • Familiar with cloud Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning, including practical implementation of algorithms and ML in environments
  • Experience developing and deploying Cloud-Native Applications
  • Familiar with Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana (ELK) stack
  • Familiar with Dask and Apache Airflow
  • Certifications, such CNCF, Linux foundation, CKA/CKS and similar are also an advantage

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, as English is the working language.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively cooperate within the team
