We are seeking a highly experienced Analog Hardware Engineer to join our Antenna group at PARETO SECURITIES AS. In this role, you will design and verify the electronics components for our tracking radars, including antenna elements, mixers, LNAs, HPAs, PSUs, and digital circuits.

You will work closely with colleagues from different fields of expertise to find innovative solutions. Your main responsibility will be to design and verify the analog PCBs in the signal chain, maintaining current generation analog signal chain hardware and developing next-generation solutions with improved noise/spurious performance, filtering, dynamic range, and phase stability.

  • Independently develop solutions on PCBs matching the requirements for the signal chain
  • Maintain and develop current and next-generation analog signal chains
  • Test and verify the performance of developed solutions at board, module, and full radar levels
About the Role

In this position, you will interface with RF, digital, and mechanical engineers to find cross-functional solutions, participate in development of the next generation radar platform architecture, support production and customers with updated documentation, and take part in assembly, test, and evaluation of prototypes.

To succeed in this role, you should have +10 years of experience in designing analog signal chains for high-speed AD converters. You should be able to get up to speed quickly with immediate design, debugging, and compliance tasks while learning design trade-offs relevant to Weibel radars.

Your professional CV should include:

  • A university degree with an electrical engineering focus
  • Experience in design of analog electronics and analog signal conditioning
  • Preferably knowledge of designing electronics for harsh environments
  • Experience with CAD/CAE tools, e.g., Cadence OrCAD or Allegro
  • Good communication skills in English
Earnings: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
