About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sensory Scientist to join our Product Development team at Fertin Pharma A/S. As a Sensory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and innovation of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Panel Management: Maintain and develop our sensory expert panels, ensuring high validity and quality of sensory tests.
- Panel Training: Develop and deliver training programs for sensory panelists, enhancing their competencies and skills.
- Sample Preparation: Prepare and label samples for testing, both internally and externally.
- Sensory Evaluations: Plan, set up, and facilitate sensory evaluations with trained panels.
- Documentation and Data Collection: Ensure accurate documentation and data collection in connection with sensory panel training.
- Methodology and Analysis: Apply relevant methodologies and statistical analysis to support product development.
- Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with other sensory scientists on statistical analysis and reporting of findings.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Behavioural Science, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in industrial applied sensory analysis, with a strong background in sensory methodologies and statistical analysis.
- Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language: Proficiency in Danish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international panelists.
