We are part of the British Reconomy Group with over 5,000 employees serving customers in more than 120 countries. Our office in Birkerød will be your base of operation, but as transport suppliers are located across Denmark and Europe, you should expect some travel activity.

You will manage transport solutions from A-Z, including structuring transport supplier relations management. Your responsibilities will include handling the development of all transport relations, building solid relationships with suppliers, negotiating price and terms, managing contracts, and delivering and coordinating prices to the sales team.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience as a Transport Manager and can manage strategic and tactical levels for the transport supplier. Skills within sea freight development are particularly an advantage, but rail and trucking are also relevant. You know how to set realistic goals and share our understanding that good supplier relations start with solid working relationships and partnerships.

You are a team player who can collaborate cross-functionally and make decisions independently. You must navigate a growth environment where things move quickly. Experience with supplier management or purchasing, education in supply chain, logistics, transport, or operations, and commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills are also essential.
