Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join our Purchasing Team as a Junior Buyer. In this role, you will be responsible for handling orders from development and sampling phases through production, ensuring that products meet specified quality standards at competitive prices and delivered flawlessly within given timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
- Analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions.
- Travel to the Far East (approximately 50-60 days per year) to oversee production and negotiate with suppliers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business or Fashion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
