Position Overview
As an Associate Process Engineer, your role will involve participating in project activities related to design, construction, testing, and validation for a capacity expansion initiative. The primary design principle will focus on implementing industry-leading design standards from other facilities.
Our team members actively engage with a proficient user organization, collaborating with engineering partners and overseeing contractor activities. Establishing standards and effectively managing project risks will be essential for providing structure and transparency. Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring quality and performance standards of assigned projects.
• Participating in regular project meetings and activities (e.g., design reviews, risk assessments, qualification, and validation activities).
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with the project manager and other stakeholders to provide technical support.
• Holding professional responsibility for pharmaceutical processes and equipment.
• Offering proactive support to the spray drying process during operations, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, pharmaceutical process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and technologies used in the purification of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (e.g., spray drying, preparative chromatography) is advantageous.
• A solid understanding of unit operations, pharmaceutical processes, and documentation.
• Relevant knowledge of technology trends in bulk manufacturing.
• Proficiency in verbal and written English.
