We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Plant Genetics Research Scientist to join our team at the Center for Quantitative Genetics and Genomics, Aarhus University.
About the PositionThe selected candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative research in plant quantitative genetics, developing new research areas, and collaborating with international networks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct research projects in plant quantitative genetics
- Develop and implement statistical and computational modeling of genomics data
- Publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals
- Supervise BSc, MSc, and PhD students
- Attract external research funding
To be eligible for this position, you must have a PhD in plant breeding, quantitative genetics, or a related field, with a minimum of 2-3 years of postdoctoral experience. You should also have a strong background in research and publication, international collaboration experience, and excellent communication skills.
BenefitsAarhus University offers a competitive salary range of DKK 531,500 - 756,900 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
