Senior Tax Reporting Specialist

Copenhagen, Denmark is home to Saxo Bank A/S, a dynamic and innovative financial institution. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Global Tax Reporting team as a Tax Reporting Associate.
As a Tax Reporting Associate, you will play a crucial role in managing the global tax landscape on behalf of Saxo's clients and partners. You will work closely with skilled IT personnel to define the roadmap and improvement areas within tax operations and tax reporting.
Responsibilities- Develop new reporting solutions and assist with Subject Matter Expert knowledge to ensure high-quality implementation.
- Ensure Saxo remains compliant with new and existing tax laws and regulatory affairs with respect to customer tax reporting, such as reporting of withholding tax and dividends.
- Review internal operations and procedures to ensure continuous improvement of reporting accuracy and completeness.
- Drive and support administration regarding customer requests and communication with Tax Regulators.
- Implement internal policies, procedures, and automatic controls for operational handling of tax reporting.
- Master's degree in Business Administration and Commercial Law, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field at a similar level.
- Preferably, you have some experience from a consultancy firm, law firm, or from the financial industry.
- Proficient in using Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc. for data analysis and query purposes.
We are looking for a candidate who is structured, detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated. Someone with a focus on effective problem-solving while working with tight deadlines. You are a team player willing to share learnings and new ideas. Additionally, you have a flair for communicating at different management levels and are proficient in English, both oral and written.
