About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist to join our team as an Associate Professor or Assistant Professor of Veterinary Biochemistry at the Department of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology, with a focus on disease modeling using state-of-the-art stem cell approaches.
  • Teach and supervise students in courses related to veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching competences and participate in academic assessments.
  • Secure external funding for research and lead research projects.
Requirements
  • PhD degree or similar qualifications in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
  • Research experience in veterinary biochemistry, organic chemistry, and cell biology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
