Job Description

We are seeking a skilled System Configuration Specialist to join our global R&D team. As a key member, you will collaborate with engineers, technical designers, and machinists to develop configuration systems for Alfa Laval Fluid Handling's product configurators.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing configuration systems
  • Maintaining and further developing existing product models in configurator
  • Supporting configuration and other in-house applications
  • Implementing new products in configurator
  • Further developing the configurator platform
  • Participating in projects focused on maintaining data for existing products in ERP and PDM systems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in computer science, mechanical engineering, or a related field, combined with interest and flair for IT systems. Your skills and qualifications include:

  • Quick understanding of complex data structures and IT systems
  • High degree of data discipline and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with product building and modularization
  • Experience working with configuration tools, ERP systems, and PLM/PDM systems
  • Project participation and management experience
  • Excellent communication skills in Danish and English
