Job Description:
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for leading the IT System Management and Operations team and supporting our production facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage your own team within people and business processes.
- Ensure operational performance in terms of quality, delivery, cost, environment, health & safety.
- Drive continuous improvement through the introduction of new technology, sharing best practices, and practicing change management.
- Implement site-specific strategies and anchor them within your team and the plants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Set and share goals for your team and individuals, provide performance feedback and development plans, and ensure clear and timely communication, coordination, and collaboration between employees and stakeholders.
- Manage the local IT systems and budget to ensure efficient operations of the production facilities.
- Ensure compliance with current and future GxP standards and external requirements.
Requirements:
- An academic background in engineering, pharma, IT, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change and continuous improvement.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, with fluency in both Danish and English expected.
- Knowledge of Manufacturing IT systems (MES – Manufacturing Execution System, DCS – Distributed Control Systems and PLC systems) and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with GxP standards, regulatory requirements, and experience in budget management.

You will be part of our Product Supply Active Pharmaceuticals Ingredients (API) organization, Purification Plant where the IT team is located. As part of our IT team, you will have the support of highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to ensuring the success of our operations.
