About the Role

NKT A/S, a leading cable producer with Headquarters in Denmark, is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Specialist to join their fast-paced team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will play a vital role in maintaining the company's financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and book incoming invoices, ensuring timely payments and accurate financial records.
  • RUN PAYMENTS, participate in period-close procedures for Accounts Payable, and collaborate with the Team Lead on specific projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support audit activities, prepare data according to auditor requests, and deliver exceptional service aligned with agreed controls, policies, and procedures.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, along with 3-5 years of experience in accounting, accounts payables, or receivables from a Shared Services organization or a major company. International experience and knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP system are preferable.

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, good understanding of internal controls and risk management practices, and fluency in written and oral English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly MS Excel, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
