About The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Pre-Sales Manager for Wind Turbine Design Software. As a key member of our EMEA Region commercial team, you will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge software solutions to our customers in the marine and offshore industries.
Key Responsibilities- Embedded within the sales team, you will work closely with Regional Sales Managers to lead technical discussions with clients, focusing on our Bladed product.
- Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues in the Support Team, Product Line, and Product Centre as needed.
- Lead product presentations, software demonstrations, and workshops with clients to showcase our solutions.
- Contribute to the development of proposal documents and respond to client technical queries.
- Work towards joint KPIs with the associated Regional Sales Manager.
- Provide technical voice of the customer feedback and insights to Product Managers and Product Marketing teams to ensure continuous improvement in our offerings.
- Support customers in successful product implementation and value creation by ensuring optimal utilization of our software's capabilities before handing over to our support team.
- Hold scheduled technical check-ins with clients to ensure customer value and identify potential up-sales opportunities.
- Create and present product papers or participate in technical panels at conferences.
- Increase exposure and market knowledge of DNV Digital Solutions products, particularly in the offshore wind and oil and gas domains.
- Develop long-standing, resilient client relationships that benefit both parties.
- Be an integral part of the wider EMEA Region commercial team.
- Be the go-to person for Regional Sales Managers for technical questions.
- Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in an associated Engineering discipline with strong technical knowledge and skills in wind turbine design or simulation.
- An outgoing personality with the ability to engage and lead client discussions.
- Hands-on experience with the DNV Bladed software tools or a competitor's similar tools.
- A track record in a similar pre-sales position with quantifiable achievements.
- A customer-oriented and collaborative mindset, with customer value as the key driver.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- A commercial mindset or a strong eagerness to learn.
- A willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events.
- Proactively build and maintain strong relationships, both externally and internally.
- Courage to make qualified independent decisions.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills as a minimum.
- Flexibility to prioritize tasks and ensure the best possible customer experience.
- Experience working in a multi-cultural or multinational fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrable history of working remotely with associated reporting lines.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM applications.
- Driving license.
