As a Category Management Professional, you will be part of this journey and contribute to shaping the future of sustainable energy. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
About your responsibilities:
- You will lead the development and implementation of category management strategies to drive procurement excellence.
- You will work closely with suppliers to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- You will analyze market trends and make recommendations to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
- You will collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
About your qualifications:
- You have a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering and at least 5 years of work experience in Procurement knowledge.
- You have experience related to cross-functional collaboration and are able to work effectively in a matrix organization.
- You possess strong communication skills and are fluent in English.
- You have knowledge related to Carbon Fiber or related industries and materials (optional).
- You are proficient in PPT, Excel & Word.
- You have a structured and fact-based approach to ensure that strategies and initiatives are prioritized and implemented.
- You are a team member with the ability to guide the team and secure joint team decisions and an open, constructive team dialogue.
- You have a holistic and positive mindset, able to see the big picture from Vestas' product offerings towards customers and connect these to supplier offerings.
