Software Developer Internship Opportunity in UNDP ITM

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Developer Intern to join its Information Technology Management (ITM) Unit in Copenhagen. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative solutions for the organization's ICT and Green Energy initiatives.
About the RoleAs a Software Developer Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the team in various tasks, including:
- Developing and implementing software solutions using Microsoft cloud technologies (Office 365, SharePoint Online, Azure)
- Designing and developing web-based applications using PHP, JavaScript, or .NET
- Creating data visualizations and dashboards using Power BI and other business intelligence tools
- Supporting the development of new projects and initiatives related to collaboration and business process automation
In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is able to work effectively in a team environment, communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate degree programme (such as a master's programme, or higher)
- Have recently graduated with a university degree in the field of IT Technician/Software Developer, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
- Have experience working with Microsoft cloud technologies, web-based development frameworks, and business intelligence tools
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering principles, DevOps practices, and continuous integration methodologies
