DevOps Systems Architect

Job Description:

At TrackMan, we are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our Research and Development team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work on building the next generation operations platform based on modern Linux technologies.

About the Role:

We are building a platform that will support a wide range of operations, from rack servers to laptops and embedded systems. We are looking for a skilled engineer who has experience working with Linux, cloud infrastructure, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement reliable and scalable systems operations for a large-scale infrastructure
2. Configure and maintain Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, and network configurations in remote locations
3. Build tools and services for field operations, support, and software development teams
4. Automate deployment and system configurations in code using DevOps practices
5. Define and implement security policies and firewall rules
6. Establish system monitoring, logging, and intrusion detection systems
7. Troubleshoot problems on network, server, and cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in a similar position as a system administrator, network specialist, or software developer in a complex Linux environment
• Strong knowledge of the Linux ecosystem, including container-based systems
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Podman container runtimes
• Good grasp of IT security
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience writing code
