Are you passionate about health and safety? Do you want to support our risk assessments, ensure compliance with evolving regulations in regards to machine safety and ATEX?
About the Role- You will work as a subject matter expert providing technical leadership on machine safety and ATEX compliance.
- You will act as an independent expert providing strategic support and proactive advice to all corporate vice president areas engineers, project managers, and health & safety organization within ATEX and machine safety aspects of development product portfolio & emerging technologies (DPP&ET) on a global level.
- Conduct in-depth analysis/risk assessments of installed equipment, focusing on electrical and pneumatic circuits, and evaluate their compatibility with machine safety and ATEX standards.
- Work closely with equipment suppliers to ensure compliance with ATEX and EU directives throughout the project.
- Overview changes in legislation globally/international standards, proactively secure standards, procedure etc. are timely aligned and implemented.
- Offer guidance and participate in investigations into more complex incidents involving machinery.
- Provide guidance and participate in more complex risk assessments within investment projects.
