As a BIM Coordinator, you will oversee the Building Information Modeling initiatives on various projects, tailored to their scale and intricacy. You will serve as the primary contact for all BIM-related inquiries, collaborating closely with the Project Manager and the BIM Manager.

A proactive and supportive attitude towards assisting your colleagues is essential, whether addressing fundamental issues or more intricate challenges.

Occasionally, you will be tasked with coordination responsibilities, conducting clash detection sessions using Navisworks, and aiding teams in overall project alignment.

During periods when BIM-specific tasks are minimal, you will be expected to contribute to general project execution.

You will report directly to the Project Manager and the Partner in Charge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage BIM initiatives in partnership with the Project Manager.
  • Provide expert BIM insights to enhance project team performance.
  • Develop and implement design technology workflows, extending beyond Revit.
  • Create and maintain project-specific parametric content.
  • Engage actively with project teams to troubleshoot and maximize BIM effectiveness.
  • Take charge of 3D coordination, interoperability, and other BIM-related workflows.
  • Educate team members in Revit and related architectural software.
  • Monitor and optimize Revit models.
  • Foster a positive BIM culture within the project, promoting a collaborative approach.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven ability to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above.
  • 4-5 years of professional experience utilizing Revit as the primary BIM tool.
  • Preferred experience in South Asia or the Middle East.
  • Passionate about the intersection of architectural technology, project delivery, and computation.
  • Extensive experience with Revit, particularly the Family Editor.
  • Understanding of architectural design and basic architectural drawing production.
  • Strong grasp of 3D coordination, with proficiency in Navisworks and a history of conducting clash detection.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and structured in approach.
  • Confident and persistent in achieving goals.
  • Able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in completing assignments.
  • Flexible regarding working hours and responsibilities.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Knowledgeable about industry BIM standards and requirements.
  • Qualified as an Architect, Landscape Architect, Engineer, or equivalent.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in Dynamo, Python, Rhino, Grasshopper, Enscape, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 Team/Design.
  • Fluency in English, with knowledge of Danish and French preferred.
  • Familiarity with BIM standards and specifications.
  • Relevant professional certifications and memberships.
  • Hands-on experience in design and construction.
  • Experience with digital collaboration tools.
