Join KU - SCIENCE - BIO as a key member of our research team and contribute to advancing our understanding of metabolic health. We are seeking an exceptional Post Doc or Assistant Professor with expertise in mitochondrial function measurements, laboratory techniques, data analysis, and manuscript writing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and conducting experiments on human adipose tissue and skeletal muscle samples. They will also participate in human experiments, manage and analyze data, contribute to manuscript writing, and supervise students in the laboratory. A strong record in laboratory methodology, experience with high resolution respirometry, and knowledge of mitochondrial function research in human adipose tissue and skeletal muscle are essential requirements.
We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment at Section for Cell Biology and Physiology, Department of Biology, located at the August Krogh Building. The successful candidate will work closely with Professor Henriette Pilegaard, Professor Jørgen Wojtaszewski, and Professor Ylva Hellsten, contributing to research within the SIGNATURE project.
