Our Logistics & Automation department is part of the global Buildings market at Ramboll. We are a global team of 15 colleagues working out of various locations in the Nordics. We have extensive experience in logistics and automation for hospitals but are also involved in projects for clients in other sectors such as food, pharma, and industry more broadly.

We are looking for an experienced Simulation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a relevant education in simulation and programming, with several years of experience working with building simulation models, including coding in C++. Proficiency in English is required, and experience within logistics is preferred but not necessary.

As a Simulation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to construct simulation models using FlexSim software. You will also be tasked with preparing input data and analyzing the output from the models. Concurrently, you will carry out the validation and verification of models, ensuring their accuracy by collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Your role requires you to be comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to clients. Moreover, you are expected to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our simulation methodologies and tools, and to keep them aligned with the latest trends and technological advancements in the industry.

Main Areas of Responsibility:

  • Development of simulation models, building simulation models to assess complex systems.
  • Programming input to the simulation model (C, C++).
  • Collaboration with colleagues in Logistics & Automation locally and globally.
  • Capability of process-understanding and translating process and flows into models.
