Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Backend Lead Engineer to join our team and drive the development of our platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architecture and design of our system, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading our backend engineering team of 4 talented engineers
  • Challenging current processes and mentoring the engineering team
  • Architecting new features or re-architecting existing ones for improved performance
  • Getting hands-on with the codebase to ensure a deep understanding of our technology stack
  • Working with databases like Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Neo4j
  • Programming in Python and leveraging our infrastructure hosted in AWS using Kubernetes and Terraform

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
  • Familiarity with our tech stack, including Python, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Slightly touched upon mentoring other engineers and have a passion for teaching and guiding others
  • Fluency in Danish, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
