About the Role

We offer a competitive salary of € 80,000 - 100,000 per year, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role, with a strong background in offshore safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Global Point of Contact for offshore and marine safety
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify best practices and ensure global alignment
  • Champion innovation in Offshore HSE practices by exploring new technologies and methodologies
  • Ensure appropriate systems and governance across regions are established and aligned to clearly defined global minimum requirements
  • Chair the Offshore HSE Safety Committee and attend industry meetings
  • Represent Vestas in industry forums and workgroups

Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as HSE or a related discipline
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or international equivalent
  • GWO Basic Safety Training and BOSIET (welcome)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in wind power/energy in maritime/offshore environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to 20% of working time
