About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Upstream Pilot Scientist to join our API Manufacturing Development team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing cultivation processes in our Pilot scale facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement yield- and process optimizations, including down-scaled experiments in our in-house laboratory.
  • Create and maintain central documents, such as Master Formulas and In-process Controls.
  • Provide specialized support to ongoing activities in the pilot facilities.
  • Transfer processes from development to pilot facilities.
  • Implement new equipment and technology.
Requirements
  • MSc in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience working with Purification.
  • Experience from a pharmaceutical production and experience with LEAN and cGMP.
  • Fluency in both Danish and English.
About the Team

You will become part of a dynamic and collaborative team consisting of 3 Pilot Scientists, 7 Pilot Technicians, and 2 Pilot Engineers. Our team is responsible for the entire set of Life-Cycle-Management activities for all BRD's API's and Support Proteins.
