About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team at the VELUX Group. As a key member of our IT & Digital Enablement function, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and maintain the IT environment to ensure seamless operations, detect potential issues, and escalate as needed.
  • Govern infrastructure components and drive continuous improvements to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external technical resources, as well as project managers, to coordinate tasks and ensure effective execution of digital solutions.
  • Ensure that deliverables, methodologies, and documentation align with VELUX architectural standards defined by system design architecture.
Requirements
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or a related field, with a proven history of IT operations and solution management.
  • Expertise in managing complex IT environments and infrastructure technologies, including Linux and various monitoring and tooling systems.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain focus in time-sensitive situations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly with remote teams.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A keen understanding of business needs and the ability to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
