We are seeking a talented PhD candidate with a strong background in mathematics to join our team at DTU Compute. The successful candidate will be working on developing novel mathematical theory as part of the DRC-1 project, which focuses on geometric singular perturbation theory within the setting of slow-fast analytic vector fields.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop novel mathematical theory that addresses fundamental problems in geometric singular perturbation theory.
  • Collaborate with project partners, including travel abroad, to advance the project goals.
  • Publish results in international mathematical journals and present research at conferences.
  • Contribute to limited teaching and other departmental duties.

A degree in (applied) mathematics or a degree with a solid foundation in mathematics is required. Ideal candidates have experience in dynamical systems theory and the ability to critically engage with technical research papers.
