Nordic RCC is a leading player in the energy sector, and we are seeking a skilled Kubernetes/Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, maintaining, and enhancing our containerized environments.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and plan complex IT infrastructure solutions that meet the company's current and future needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the infrastructure and platforms used by the organization, including enabling the monitoring of technology solutions delivered within the organization and external service providers.
  • Review and manage active risks and respond to security threats in collaboration with our outsourcing partner.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the effective delivery of technical components, including Kubernetes and traditional platform technologies.
  • Define, establish, and maintain infrastructure architecture roadmap that guides development and evolution of technology components in alignment with RCC architectures in collaboration with our outsourcing partner.
  • Design, administrate, and manage infrastructure components, including end-user devices, workplace solutions, servers, networking, storage, databases, as well as enable access to cloud-based services in collaboration with our outsourcing partner.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call duty roster.
  • Create and maintain documentation of IT infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures, and provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of infrastructure projects and initiatives in collaboration with our outsourcing partner.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes on Rancher management and a broad technical profile, including knowledge of technologies such as Active Directory, Windows Server, VMware, Rancher, Kubernetes, DMZ, MSSQL, SharePoint, Linux RHEL, and Cisco networks.
  • Strong understanding of the energy or regulated sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
  • Broad conceptual knowledge of technologies.
  • Ability to recognize challenges early and proactively seek solutions.
