Pioneer the future of pharmaceutical development at the intersection of AI and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will develop deep neural networks to unlock new opportunities in drug formulation and collaborate with leading experts at the Crick Institute in London.
The Role
The position will be part of the project “The application of neural network to NMR data for better formulation understanding”, involving pioneering research at the intersection of AI, NMR spectroscopy, and pharmaceutical formulation development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and apply deep neural networks to complex NMR data to unlock new opportunities in pharmaceutical development.
Create innovative methods for identifying excipients with high screening potential, thereby accelerating formulation development processes.
Work with Prof. D. Flemming Hansen at the Crick Institute, London, to push the boundaries of current NMR methodologies.
What We Offer
A 5-day course in Machine Learning at DTU to equip you with the knowledge needed.
An approximately 2-month stay at the Crick Institute in London.
Collaborate with other functions in Novo Nordisk, such as Machine Intelligence, Biophysics, Formulation, and peptide & protein characterization.
Qualifications
PhD in natural science.
Strong understanding and experience both experimentally and theoretically in NMR Spectroscopy, while skills within Machine Learning, AI, and/or programming will be considered an advantage.
Strong communication skills in English.
