At Universal Robots, a pioneering technology company, we're shaping the future of collaborative robotics. As our new Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you'll lead the charge in driving functional excellence and continuous improvement within our manufacturing engineering team.

Based at our Teradyne Robotics Operations Site in Odense, you'll be responsible for leading a team of production engineers, overseeing capital and process development projects, and providing technical guidance to ensure superior quality and efficiency. Your expertise will be instrumental in implementing lean techniques, value engineering, and other initiatives to enhance existing processes and eliminate waste.

A key aspect of this role is identifying and justifying capital equipment investments, analyzing downtime trends, and developing solutions to improve overall productivity. Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring accuracy in manufacturing engineering procedures and documentation, performing root cause analysis, and resolving problems through 8D methodologies.

To succeed in this position, we envision a candidate with a strong engineering background, preferably in electronic, machine, or production engineering. Experience with DFT, LEAN & Six Sigma is highly valued, as well as the ability to navigate complex matrix setups and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
