Job Description
">We are seeking a talented Tender Manager/Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Markets team, you will play a vital role in guiding the public and private sector in the delivery of technologies and systems to meet global and national net zero targets.
">You will be responsible for managing and leading tenders through our stage gate approval process, overseeing the preparation of engineering input to tender documentation, and coordinating with colleagues in technical disciplines to prepare tender documentation and leverage from existing material to build the proposal.
">Your Key Responsibilities
">- Engage with new and existing clients during the early phases of new projects to ensure effective communication and relationship-building.
- Manage and lead tenders through our stage gate approval process to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Oversee the preparation of engineering input to tender documentation, leveraging from existing material and seeking opportunities for innovation to enhance proposal quality.
- Coordinate with colleagues in technical disciplines to prepare tender documentation and leverage from existing material to build the proposal, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Maintain our database of standard proposal material in the Customer Relation Management system to ensure easy access and efficient use.
- Coordinate with the technical advisory team to standardize tender documents and deliverables, ensuring consistency and quality across all proposals.
- Ensure information flow from clients and markets is efficiently distributed within the organization, facilitating seamless collaboration and decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications
">- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, ideally in an engineering discipline, with a demonstrable understanding of relative engineering principles, and the ability to understand technical concepts.
- Previous relevant experience in proposal and bid management, preferably in the energy sector, with evidence of working within a large engineering consultancy.
- Customer-focused approach as well as solution-oriented and structured way of working to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to articulate complex ideas and technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Experienced team player with strong project management skills who is expected to work with limited supervision to deliver high-quality results.
