Job Title: Low Voltage Design Team Lead

At Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Low Voltage Design Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our electrical module, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical experts in the design and development of low voltage systems for our renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of technical experts in the design and development of low voltage systems
  • Coordinate and supervise research and predevelopment activities in assigned technology fields
  • Develop and expand operational competencies in the team to ensure capabilities and skills match future requirements
  • Ensure the strategy and development direction aligns with the company's goals
  • Responsible for team deliveries, secure collaboration with sub-suppliers, and solution providers
  • Focus on optimizing procedures and processes to improve team efficiency
  • Interface with various stakeholders internally and externally to acquire and allocate necessary resources
  • Collaborate with other teams and managers to ensure harmonized ways of working
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing technical teams
  • Degree in electrical engineering or similar
  • Experience working with multiple cultures, agile methodologies, and strong technical knowledge in low voltage areas
  • Solid technical understanding, analytical skills, and ability to combine skills with common sense
  • Experience in designing low voltage systems and general system knowledge for full technical systems
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with an outgoing and proactive attitude
  • Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing, in English
  • Ability to motivate the team, follow up on technical activities, and secure progress and understanding
