Tax Compliance Strategist

At European Energy, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Compliance Specialist to join our in-house tax department. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in driving process improvements for tax control frameworks, reporting, and compliance.

• Ensure robust tax information delivery to EE Group financial reports.
• Lead the transformation of tax data into OneStream, a new Finance consolidation software tool.
• Manage Danish tax calculations and returns, as well as review tax returns in other jurisdictions.
• Drive the implementation of Country-by-Country Reporting and Pillar 2.
• Collaborate with local finance colleagues on tax inquiries and audits.
• Assist with due diligence tax deliveries on divestments.

As a successful candidate, you'll possess a master's degree in tax, accounting, economics, or a related field. Your experience should include managing tax reporting and compliance from the auditing industry or large B2B companies. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential. Experience with Navision/Business Central and Hyperion/OneStream is beneficial but not required. You should be proficient in Danish and English, with a strong focus on detail and result-driven motivation.
