Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Scientist to join our team at IFF. As a R&D - Scientific Researcher in Food Rheology and Oral Processing, you will play a key role in advancing our understanding of food texture and mouthfeel through the development and implementation of extensional rheology techniques.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement extensional rheology techniques to advance our understanding of food texture and mouthfeel
* Establish heuristic and causal relationships between rheological properties and sensory experiences
* Design and conduct experiments, modifying sample environments as needed
* Analyse large datasets to correlate rheological data with sensory and oral processing outcomes
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external academic partners to drive project success
* Document results in technical reports and create input for new inventions (patent applications)

Requirements:
* PhD or Postdoc in Food Science, Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines
* Experience in advanced rheology
* Proficiency in data analysis and data science
