About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join our Scrum-based development team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions throughout the product life cycle. This includes preparing tests of new functionality, identifying test environment needs, and implementing and executing manual testing.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, including early test design and risk assessments
- Collaborate with peers and the team on suitable test strategies
- Implement and execute manual testing, including system tests, integration tests, performance tests, and acceptance tests
- Report, manage, and verify defects
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project test framework and strategy
Your Background
To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, health technology, or a related field. Ideally, you should have 1-2 years of relevant experience, possibly from a student job, an internship, or your first job after graduating. You should also be fluent in English and proficient in one or more of the following technologies/tools: SQL, TestRail, R4J, Jira, or Postman.
