Our embedded Linux based camera records games using multiple cameras, stitching them together with advanced video processing algorithms. AI and cloud teams then process the stream with industry-leading models, enabling players and coaches to see detailed statistics.

Your Role:

We're seeking a senior embedded Linux developer to support us in our mission. You'll interface with both AI and cloud teams, having the opportunity to gain experience in these domains. With at least 3-5 years of industry experience, you'll have expert knowledge in solving day-to-day problems in connected embedded products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing firmware for embedded Linux systems, including Yocto configuration, device trees, inter-process communication, state management, self-diagnostics, automated testing, and bootloaders.
  • Crafting low-level drivers and firmware for various MCU architectures and real-time operating systems, interfacing them with external peripherals, battery management systems, firmware updates, and device trees.
  • Building BLE devices, implementing and optimizing GATT services, device discovery, and connection handling. Experience with devices supporting both BLE and WiFi is a plus.
  • Integrating embedded systems with cloud services, particularly using REST APIs. Familiarity with AWS services and experience in diagnosing and deploying remote monitoring, logging, and OTA update solutions is essential.
  • Designing and optimizing media pipelines using GStreamer, ensuring seamless video playback and processing.
  • Troubleshooting hardware/software interactions, having a deep understanding of embedded hardware design, schematics, board bring-up, peripheral interfacing, and debugging techniques.
