About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Procurement Manager to join our Global IT Services & Procurement Organization at Ascendis Pharma. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our product teams with purchasing, negotiating, and maintaining agreements with our vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our IT procurement process, including managing incoming tasks for the team.
  • Work closely with IT Product teams and legal counterparts to design and negotiate IT agreements.
  • Support the enablement and setup of our IT contract framework.
  • Ensure vendors deliver value throughout their contract lifecycle.
  • Maintain an overview of our application licenses.
  • Secure the right setup for external resources to enable scaling while securing fair prices.
  • Contribute to the overall portfolio of activities in GIT Services & Procurement.
Requirements
  • A couple of years' experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with partnering with IT and business stakeholders within different product areas.
  • Experience with IT contracts and ability to quickly interpret complex material.
  • A structured business mindset, able to see the big picture and determine the benefits or disadvantages of different scenarios.
