Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior (Lead) Project Manager to join our team at GTT Communications Denmark ApS. As a key member of our Project Management team, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects to a high standard, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver complex projects to a high standard, ensuring client satisfaction and financial acumen.
  2. Oversee the quality and client satisfaction of complex projects assigned to other project managers.
  3. Assure compliance with Quality Gates Principles as per the GTT PM Methodology.
  4. Manage a virtual team of project managers assigned to support the Senior Lead Project Manager.
  5. Provide weekly RAG status of complex projects in Europe and other reporting areas as agreed with the Director Project Management, Europe.
  6. Stakeholder management on a tactical level within GTT and with customers and suppliers.
  7. Business travel to participate in customer meetings and flexibility of working hours.
  8. Build and manage European Service Delivery collateral that demonstrates the GTT approach to complex project management.
  9. Minimize GTT's commercial and legal risk and exposure on all complex projects during the delivery phase.
  10. Align with the Directors, Project Management, to support alignment of the Global GTT PM community operating the same process and systems.

Candidate Characteristics:

  1. Positive, upbeat, and approachable by all colleagues and clients, regardless of hierarchy.
  2. A committed team player who values their team members and looks to assist their careers.
  3. Persuasive, influential, and an effective communicator.
  4. Excellent time, risk, and issues management and prioritization skills.

Candidate Experience:

  1. Evidence of ability to manage C-suite interactions with clients, vendors, partners, and internal GTT departments.
  2. A strong understanding of ICT or networking principles.
  3. Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills in English and preferably another relevant European language.
  4. Excellent matrix management and ability to build strong cross-departmental relationships.
  5. Proven ability to manage projects from business case through to implementation.

Qualifications/Courses:

  1. A Bachelor's degree, or higher, or significant experience from a telecoms background.
  2. ITIL qualifications highly desirable.
  3. Prince II practitioner or equivalent Project Management qualification (PMI, etc).
