Linux and Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Linux and Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Cloud team in Prague. As a member of our global team, you will collaborate with colleagues in Denmark and the Philippines to drive our Linux, K8s, and DevOps initiatives worldwide.

Your role involves advising, building, operating, and supporting our customers' expanding Hybrid Cloud infrastructure platform, encompassing onboarding and daily operational needs (KPIs, SLAs, OLAs). You will leverage Agile, ITIL, and DevOps concepts to deliver what our customers want and need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructure, leveraging containerization and IaC tools.
  • Maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, issue resolution, and feature implementation.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance our cloud capabilities.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • In-depth knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), IaC (Terraform, Bicep), and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Grafana, Elastic Stack, Prometheus), as well as security best practices within cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hold certifications such as CKA/CKS/CKAD or Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and familiarity with cloud-native services.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Helm, Kustomize, Argo, Flux) and GitOps practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
