The Role

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join our in-house tax department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the indirect tax agenda globally and ensuring compliance with VAT and customs duties.

You will work closely with colleagues from other departments to implement strong procedures and ensure a robust compliance level. You will also act as an internal advisor on indirect tax matters and support requests from tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement strong procedures to ensure a robust compliance level on VAT and customs duties
• Act as an internal advisor on indirect tax matters
• Ensure proper integration of indirect tax input into our ERP system (Navision/Business Central)
• Support requests from tax authorities and manage indirect tax audits
• Analyze legislative developments within the indirect tax area and determine the impact on European Energy Group

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Tax, Accounting, Law, or Economics
• 5+ years of experience with indirect tax from an in-house tax department, an audit firm, or the tax authorities
• Experience with ERP systems and the relation with indirect taxes
• Fully proficient in English, Danish is an advantage
• Skilled user of MS Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
