About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Indirect Supply Chain team at Maersk Group - A.P. Møller Mærsk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing operational and tactical procurement tasks with high quality, efficiency, and customer focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and support a roadmap of continuous improvement initiatives and internal relations to improve daily operations without compromising them through data analysis and self-serve options.
  • Liaise with key partners across AP, Finance, and Vendor Management to ensure P2P processes are efficient based on data analysis and root cause analysis.
  • Provide focus on a systematic, disciplined approach to managing transactions associated with vendor spend, supporting the long-term goal of the business and functions supported by Indirect Supply Chain.
  • Engage with and support key stakeholders to ensure the procurement agenda is understood and part of how we collectively work.
  • Recognize the importance of operating to a compliance agenda towards stakeholders and be an ambassador that drives cost efficiencies, the right tone, and behaviors in all aspects of our engagements.
  • Be accountable for maintaining and updating all customer-facing tools, insights, and portals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A strong analytical mindset and a keen interest in data analysis.
  • Experience in project-based environments with structured delivery and daily operations.
  • Relevant procurement, P2P, and negotiation skills, with financial and accounting acumen.
  • Familiarity with business cost drivers and supply chain landscapes.
  • Ability to execute under pressure and deliver high-quality results, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build rapport across various roles.
  • Motivation, self-drive, and entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to develop independent decision-making abilities.
