About the Role:

As a Sustainability Project Lead, you will be responsible for driving the operational implementation of Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) including conducting double materiality assessment, mapping and analysis of ESG impacts, risks and opportunities, and working with internal and external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives.

You will report to the Chief People Office and work closely with colleagues in the Compliance and Sustainability team from our office in Allerød, Denmark.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Drive the operational implementation of CSRD, including conducting double materiality assessments and mapping and analyzing ESG impacts, risks, and opportunities.">
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement sustainability initiatives that align with our company's goals and objectives.">
  • Conduct climate account analysis for BWSC and lead efforts to achieve our environmental regulatory requirements.">
  • Develop targets and metrics for implementation and monitor sustainability legislation to ensure compliance.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Key Qualifications:

  • An educational background within Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.">
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sustainability, environmental compliance, or a related field within an engineering or industrial context.">
  • In-depth understanding of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and its implications for companies.">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.">
  • Proven ability to manage and lead complex projects, with attention to detail and deadlines.">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and IT in general.">
