About the Project

The research project INF4INITY aims to develop and use new methods for analyzing performance of porous structural parts in marine structures. This involves investigating floating wind turbines with Nature Inspired design of scour protection and motion damping systems.

As a Postdoc, you will be working closely with faculty, researchers, PhD students, and MSc students to achieve the project's objectives. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with international experts and contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of marine structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modeling the effects of wave, current, and sea-bed interaction with porous structures
  • Developing and implementing new methods for free-surface and turbulence in porous media
  • Including sediment transport schemes in the modeling
  • Assessing sand transport interaction with porous structures
  • Co-supervising master projects
  • Collaborating with other project members in INF4INITY
