About the Role


The PEX Department for Nacelle & HUB production at Vestas is seeking a skilled Kaizen Engineer to support the implementation of Lean tools and continuous improvement activities. The ideal candidate will have an Engineering Degree and experience in production/process/tools engineering in a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities



  • Ensure the Implementation of OPEX assessment together with PEX team
  • Training of stakeholders in different lean tools and facilitating Local Kaizen Board activities
  • Leading and conducting 5S Audits and Trainings
  • Updating Crane Plans as per changes with focus on safety
  • Aligning Job Sequences for optimal flow in the assembly area
  • Updating Warehouse Delivery Plan for just-in-time delivery
  • Gathering and analyzing Data for Production to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements



  • An Engineering Degree
  • Experience in production/process/tools engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with Kaizen Activities, 5S & other lean tools
  • Practical experience in implementing and managing change in a production environment
  • Experience with Production Support software
