Makeen Energy A/S is embarking on a groundbreaking digital transformation journey, seeking an exceptional Chief Information Officer to spearhead this initiative. As the leader of our global team of 30 full-time professionals, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.

Leading a Global Department with Growth Expectations

Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the digital transformation by enhancing both the organizational structure and competencies. You will oversee a global IT department, currently consisting of 30 FTEs, with expectations to double in the coming years. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategy
  2. Driving business model development through digital offerings
  3. Managing software solutions and lifecycle management
  4. Overseeing IT infrastructure, service delivery, processes, and operations
  5. Ensuring compliance, governance, cybersecurity, and portfolio management

Proven Leadership Experience in Strategic Roles

We are looking for an individual with solid experience in leading IT departments or teams, where you have designed and executed IT strategies and managed complex IT environments. You should have experience in change management and stakeholder engagement in international and multicultural organizations.
