About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Security Leader to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our Global Security Management Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Regional Security Advisers and working closely with senior stakeholders across the company to deliver the Global Security services offering across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Global Security services across Novo Nordisk's regions.
  • Represent the Business Partnering arm of Global Security in the Management Team.
  • Ensure team motivation and focus on career development for your team.
  • Advise sites and affiliate leadership teams in Denmark.
  • Coordinate the network of Security Champions in the country.
  • Work closely with the Physical Security Operations team within Corporate Facilities.
  • Oversee the effectiveness of security solutions implemented across the organisation.
  • Conduct security surveys, trainings, and investigations as required.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Ideally Masters Degree (e.g. Security Risk Management, International Relations, Geopolitics etc), but education can be replaced by corresponding experience.
  • Solid generalist corporate security, military, intelligence or law enforcement experience in an international (ideally global) environment.
  • Significant team leadership experience.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and deliver multi-year plans.
  • Strong business partnering skills, a genuine interest and understanding of the commercial/business aspects of the role, and a proven ability to provide a balanced and pragmatic approach to security risk management.
  • Ability to lead through influence in a matrix organisation and to work and deliver across countries & cultures.
