About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Workday, Inc. in Copenhagen. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our tools and platforms that empower our developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QA strategies that align with the team objectives.
  • Provide testing guidance and training to help the team deliver a robust and well-tested platform.
  • Create comprehensive test plans for new developments and updates of existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct exploratory testing on new platform features and services to ensure they meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Proactively plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and QA engineers to ensure high confidence in the quality of new releases.
  • Contribute to the growth and continuous improvement of quality and testing processes within the team aligning with our shift-left approach to quality assurance and testing.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who possesses a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Assurance and Software Testing of web applications.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Ability to develop clear and comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
  • Experience in exploratory and functional end-to-end testing.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman, Charles, SoapUI, etc.
  • Familiarity with non-functional testing types, including accessibility, performance, and security testing.
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools like Playwright, Selenium is a plus.
